While Jamino was home for the weekend we made time for our favorite past time--Golf

Baseball

So as you all know--I love baseball! It's my favorite sport. Generally we go and cheer for the Salt Lake Bees (Triple A for the Angels) But last week Barb called and said that Nate would be in town playing and asked what night I wanted tickets--Well of course I went every night! Tuesday through Friday and it was so much fun!

Here"s Nate running--He just hit a homer in the first game--He hit well every night and it was so fun to be the only ones in the stadium cheering for the Redhawks!
Here are the Andersen Girls: Barb, Hilary, CHUBBY ME, Emily and Dena (Chris didn't come cause she was tired or ill--something like that)
Jamino made it home on Thursday--I picked him up from the airport and went straight to the game. It was GREAT! Happy Birthday to me-- Jamino came, there was baseball and fireworks--I win! There were more great picture but I managed to ruin them trying to get them out of Levi's camera--Genius

So Yep I had a Birthday

That's right I got another day older and that completed anothr decade of life--WAHHH! Here are the flowers Levi and Mandee sent me--Thanks guys!

Searching for the Perfect Pretzel, I mean Pizza

Levi came home the other night craving pizza flavored Combos (those flavor stuffed pretzel things) and after searching everywhere: Smith's, Walmart, Albertson's, Dan's and Bowman's; he still hadn't found them. So naturally we had to change our search tactics. Instead of looking for pretzels that tasted like pizza we went chose pizza that tasted like pretzels! Just kidding we went for regular pizza. Levi had just watched Katie's JibJab campaign post so mid ordering he broke out in song stunning the poor defenseless pizza hut employee. It was hilarious!

Alright--I know what you're thinking--It's about time!Well I'm at the office and there are a whole 4 people in the office this week. My boss is on vaca and everyone else is in Denver for meetings and I'm bored out of my mind

Blow Out in December

Driving 75 MPH on the freeway in bumper 2 bumper at 7am my tire blows out. It was still dark and I made my way to the side of the road. I don't have a problem changing tires--my Dad taught me well. However I can't find the jack! So I trudge through the snow a few hundred yards to a parked semi (the driver was sleeping) and ask to borrow a flash light. Reluctantly he gives me one and long story short I find the jack and change the tire.
Unfortunately my spare was flat!!! So I crawled along at a turtles pace on the shoulder to the next exit and then took the surface streets to the tire store 4 towns away. It was a great way to start the day!

Jake Just Passing Through

Looks Appetizing huh? Jake came through on a road trip this past spring so we had to take him to his FAVORITE place.

Visits with Katie

Katie came to visit me in April among all the other things we (as outlined on her blog back then) we went to Color Me Mine and painted large platters. While we were there the weather went from 80 degrees to snowing--we had three inches on the car when we came out.

Last month I went and visited Katie--we had a finger picking good time! She carried that hand around for a couple of hours thinking it would be a good birthday gift for Levi--in the end she decided on cuff links instead. (Good Choice Katie)

A Little Catch Up

This picture belongs at the bottom but it doesn't want to move funny cause at the end of the day (Christmas) Harley didn't want to move either!

Okay--So I'm backing up a bit . . . this is my Gourd carving for Halloween I did this with a ballpoint pen and a plastic spoon at my office halloween party.
For Thanksgiving I went to Washington for a visit with the Fam--super fun.
I also got a great new hair cut--unfortunately this is the only pix I have of it, so . . . there's the back.
This is Levi on Christmas morning opening his present from Mom and Dad (a GPS)
And here we are playing our new game--Knights of Catan on Christmas day.

Jamino's Company Car

When Jamino was negotiating his compensation package with his new company it was decided that he would have a company vehicle. Since his store are in three different towns spanning over a 100 miles apart, and with the cost of gas ever increasing we were really quite excited about this little perk!
There was apparrently some kind of misunderstanding. When I came home from work last Thursday this was sitting in my driveway!
So here it is--Jamino's new company car--at least we didn't have to rent a moving truck to get all his stuff to Reno--Ha ha. Let me just say--Jamino is THRILLED to be driving it around everyday--it doesn't even have power windows or a CD player.

Sudden Seasonal Shedding

Though I love the mop look the best--it was time for Harley to shed a few pounds and 50 years, now he looks like a sprite young pup. It's so funny cause he keeps taking his paw and brushing forward on the top of his head--he likes to have hair over his eyes. When it was long we'd brush the hair out of his face and he would put it back a fast as he could--now he just keeps trying but there's no hair there!
